Our last visioning charrette of 2025 brings every Palisades neighborhood together. This “catch-all” session is your chance to help shape the January 10 Charrette Report-Back and the focus groups that will launch immediately after. If you missed your neighborhood session, this is the moment to join the conversation.
These community-led workshops in each neighborhood of the Palisades give residents a voice in how to rebuild with resilience. Facilitated by RAND and AIA volunteers, these are working groups among trusted neighbors designed to begin thinking about rebuilding with resilience and community character, post-fire. These are not lectures—they’re conversations, tailored to your street, your situation, and your future.
If your home survived but your peace and quiet didn’t, you’re not alone. The Come Back Club is a space for residents navigating daily life during recovery—support groups, quality-of-life check-ins, updates on construction timelines, even curated food truck nights and temporary recreation offerings to bring some joy back to our blocks. Recovery isn’t just about rebuilding homes—it’s about restoring community spirit.
The PRC Community Advisory Group (CAG) began as weekly recovery check-ins in April and has evolved into a standing monthly call that brings together law enforcement and community partners to keep Palisadians informed about the changing landscape of local security and public safety.
PRC is launching LEGACY In partnership with the Trauma Resource Institute, PRC is launching Legacy — a healing and storytelling program for multi-generational families who lost their homes, memories, and mementos in the Palisades Fire. Together, TRI counselors and PRC volunteers will help families salvage what remains, reconstruct what was lost, and preserve the stories that define who we are as a community.
These deeply personal projects will become part of a permanent “Legacy Collection” — a curated installation within the newly built Palisades Library of the Future, honoring both the grief and resilience of families whose histories stretch across generations. Legacy is not only about what burned — it’s about what endures: love, memory, and the spirit of the Palisades.
Born from the ashes of the January 2025 wildfire, Art for Healing is the Palisades Recovery Coalition’s creative sanctuary—a space where survivors, neighbors, and artists come together to transform loss into light. Through painting, photography, music, and mixed-media workshops, participants give voice to emotion, memory, and hope—turning the story of devastation into one of renewal and connection.
For six months following the fire, PRC convenes community and organization leaders for a weekly call to ensure alignment on priorities.
