Technology & Connectivity: Frontier installing fiber lines; Spectrum replacing damaged cable. Wi-Fi access remains a challenge for many residents and impacts camera reliability.

🛣️ Keeping PCH & Local Streets Safe
Per Caltrans, we’re  not seeing major traffic disruptions on PCH yet, but there is expected to be some strain on roadways, especially through the Chautauqua chokepoint.  PRC has urged active dialogue with State, County, and L.A. City agencies about urgent safety and drivability issues affecting both local streets and Pacific Coast Highway. Special focus is on the PCH/West Channel/Chautauqua corridor, where we are:
Pressing for infrastructure improvements
Asking for analysis on effects of construction traffic in the months to come
Prioritizing safe, efficient evacuation routes for future emergencies
Your input on traffic pain points is welcome—this is a key area for community advocacy.

🔥 Fire Recovery & Resilience
📡 Resilience Through Technology
From cameras to emergency comms, we’re urging the use of smart tech tools to make Palisades disaster-resilient and responsive.

🛡️ Fire technology
Innovative Fire technology is at the table—aimed at protecting hillside homes and critical infrastructure using modern technology that makes detection and response seamless and quick. We are engaged in conversations and will bring more to the community soon.

🛠️ Resources: Habitat for Humanity Can Help
Habitat LA is actively supporting families affected by the Palisades and Eaton Fires. They’re offering help to repair and rebuild homes, especially for low-income, uninsured, or underinsured households. Habitat LA is committed to walking with our community through this long recovery—step by step—so we can rebuild stronger, safer neighborhoods for all. Contact them through this FLYER
