The Palisades Recovery Coalition is proud to release a landmark Community-Informed Recovery Report

Today we are proud to release Community-Informed Recovery: 18 Months of Community Engagement. This report reflects the voices of Palisadians who have helped shape a community-led vision for recovery through Neighborhood Charrettes, Community Recovery Labs, town halls, and public engagement over the past 18 months.

PRC Findings: Report

After 18 months of listening, convening, researching, and engaging hundreds of fire survivors, the Palisades Recovery Coalition is proud to release Community-Informed Recovery: 18 Months of Community Engagement, Findings and Emerging Frameworks—a comprehensive report documenting the voices, priorities, and ideas of Pacific Palisades residents as they navigate one of the most complex disaster recoveries in California history.

Drawing on Neighborhood Visioning Charrettes™, Community Recovery Labs™, Insurance Town Halls, early Riviera convenings, and other community engagement efforts, the report captures what residents believe is needed to rebuild a more resilient, insurable, and connected Pacific Palisades.

More than retrospective, it offers an emerging framework for community-centered recovery that can inform policymakers, practitioners, and wildfire-impacted communities across California and beyond. We invite community members, public officials, researchers, and recovery partners to read the report and join us in advancing a recovery that is transparent, locally informed, and worthy of the people working so hard to rebuild their community.

Join PRC as the Palisades 4th of July parade Returns

Join PRC as we celebrate our community’s first Fourth of July Parade since the fire.

This Saturday marks a meaningful milestone as one of the Palisades’ most cherished traditions returns. We hope you’ll walk with the Palisades Recovery Coalition as we celebrate our community, our resilience, and all that lies ahead.

Meet at the PRC office at 3:30 p.m. for parade line-up assignments and a short walk together to our staging area. The parade steps off at 4:00 p.m., followed by an evening celebration at Palisades High School featuring live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and a spectacular drone show. Tickets are required for the evening festivities.

We look forward to celebrating with you—and to showing, once again, the strength and spirit of the Pacific Palisades community.

Visit Palisades4th.com for parade details, logistics and evening celebration tickets.

Community Recovery Labs Return This August

The Palisades Recovery Coalition is launching the second round of our Community Recovery Labs (CRLs)—bringing residents together once again to help shape the future of our community.

This next series will focus on resilience: how we build a stronger, safer, more prepared Pacific Palisades in the face of future wildfire risk. Together, participants will explore practical solutions and develop community-informed recommendations to guide recovery and long-term resilience.

As with our first Community Recovery Lab, participants will be selected through a civic selection designed to create a representative cross-section of the Palisades community.

Watch your inbox in the coming weeks for opportunities to participate, or sign up here. We hope you’ll consider lending your voice to this important conversation as we continue turning community ideas into meaningful action.
